Quiet Practice

This practice is beneficial for quieter more introspective days or evenings where gentle movement and breath would be beneficial to calm your nervous system. Sometimes quieter practices feel more challenging, especially when we are used to being on the go. Try to make space for any potential feelings of frustration or boredom as you venture into slower territory.

You’ll need a chair and the willingness to be still.

This video includes:

  • Sound Awareness Meditation
  • Bird Breath
  • Neck & Shoulder Rolls
  • Seated Side Bend
  • Interlaced Hand Breath & Movement
  • Seated Spinal Twist

See if you can include one or two seated breath or movement practices in your day. Try to give these short movement or breath practices all of your attention. Notice how they make you feel after you have done them.
